Porn Star

How much money can you make?

So you want to be a porn star and now you want to know how much money you can make doing it, right? This is the right place to find that out.

I’m not going to lie, the hotter you are, the more money you will make in porn.

It may not be the nicest or most politically correct thing to say, but when you look good, people want to see you naked and the more people that want to see you naked, the more money you will make.

However that being said, you don’t have to be a supermodel to be in porn. There are a lot of what most people would consider “average” girls in porn making an insane amount of money. So if you don’t look like Cindy Crawford don’t let that discourage you. You can still make good money.

Beyond your looks, it also depends on what you are willing to do.

Certain “acts” earn more money. For example if you go on a shoot for a magazine, you might only be paid $300. Whereas if you were to do an anal scene you might make $1200.

You will always be paid no matter what you do, but some things will pay you more. A girl/girl scene won’t pay as much as a boy/girl scene.

Here is a basic guideline of how much each type of scene pays out. Keep in mind however these are LA rates. They vary greatly depending on where you are shooting. Places outside of LA never pay these so called premium rates – and also I should mention these are the girls rates.

Men never ever make this kind of money. A man might make about $350 to $650 per scene. It doesn’t matter if he is with one girl or seven or if he works 1 hour or 10. Men just don’t make what females do in porn.

These are your typical female rates for scenes shot in LA or Las Vegas.

  • Solo (or softcore photo shoot only) $150 – $350
  • Boy/Girl $600 – $1000
  • Anal (b/g) $1000 – $1500
  • Anal (g/g) $800 – $1200
  • Group Sex $1200 – $2000
  • Double Penetration – $1100 – $1400
